It’s good for us to have search engine like Yahoo or Google. Someone may say that we can’t live without it nowadays. But I don’t agree with such idea. Those search engines make our lives going back to be the same way as it was in the past.
ReplyDeleteYou might say that I’m crazy but let’s think about it deeper. When people want to know things or some information for the topic they’re interesting in, they ask search engine. And the search engine gives you a great number of the sites you can go to. But have you ever thought that if these websites are reliable or not? You might say that you believe in Wikipedia because it is the famous world encyclopedia. But friends, don’t you know that that information in Wiki is distorted by governments and ordinary people all over the world. It’s not reliable. And if you need some data for your research or something, you have to look for them in book like in the past. You see?
Maybe, some people will write program checking reliability for those website, I hope, and it will be another great wave for our internet addicted lives. And again, our lives will become more comfortable but I guess there will be some unpredictable problem again and we have to walk in our old track again.

ReplyDeleteFor the first question, I agree with yahoo is a guide to everything because you just click it to research something, it will pop- up million information in different websites to you choose it. Yahoo become a popular way to searching that many people were chosen now. When you go to this Website, It likes you are walking around the world, you can see things in one click. In my thought YAHOO is so great website that you not skip it when you want to search something.
Moreover, INTERNET can make a biggest knowledge store in the future. Probably you not see books in libraries but you see online books- computers instead. WHY I KNOW? Because I guess from my using internet, I often search information from INTERNET more than BOOKS, It‘s easy, quickly and convenient for me but I don’t mean I forgot books because INTERNET not give some information that I want, sometime, it’s not concern with my answers because it has million words that not focus on my keyword. So I also use books together when I search information.

Ok by the way, let's me drive into my opinion.
Nowadays there are many helpfull thing in the internet but not only that also useless too. As the text said "The internet was being used to exchange sex picture". Morover I strongly believe that there are more than pictures for sure, for example vdo or some naked clips. So that's a big point to let many children come into a dangerouse way. But I didn't mean that every children who come into those website always degenerate.
So parents are the greatest weapon to protect their child from a super danger virus :P thus please taking a good care to your future baby^^
Beside as you see most people always do many thing online such as Banking, shoping, watching, searching, dancing including to Thai famouse festival "Loy Kathong" hahaha! we can do it online too :) excelent!!! So I think may be future ppl will eat, sleep, or sizzling in the internet too right!! What's the damn thought!
Finally as Honey and Koy said, thousand of useless informations will pop up whenever you click on it. But the question is how can I believe it? Is it true or reliable? SO In my opinion, the best source of information is from a BOOK.

Hell yeah, time for replying this OUTSTANDING essay! I guess, while I’m writing this stuff, lots of my friends also engaging it, hah.
ReplyDeleteWell, well, well, let’s see what I have here, nothing…arhhh! Kidding! I choose the second one issue about internet’s future, can I? Yes, I can!
What should I say, formal or informal? In fact, I can say both but this time I choose the other ways, un-informal, haha!
Internet’s future? What is it? Is it the future of Internet? Yes, I guess! So, how is it relating to our life? First, what position should I be responsible in order to answer this unsolvable question? Kid? Teacher? Soldier? Blah…blah…blah!
Anyway, to avoid this question, I will answer as all positions I have mentioned. As a kid I will say that “Internet is a thing allowing me to an online-game world.” As for that view, nothing much about Internet whether in the future, it will change or not. Let’s move to other the next position, Teacher. As for this position’s thinking, if one day I’m a Teacher, Internet will give me lots of benefits such as, class’s preparing, information, lessons and more. What if Internet’s future has been changed in the near future? Bad or good? I don’t know but a teacher like me has to find other ways out in order to gain fast food-information to teach my students up to date. Soldier, a fence of the nation, always used Internet as an assistant. The beginning of Internet is coming from military. They use Internet in order to collect their data or information into the mainframe computer and many things. What will be the impactions if Internet has changed itself into other things that may harm to the nation’s security? Military will concern about this factor for sure, many hackers are trying to crack the military systems down in order to “challenge their knowledge.”
I think it’s enough complaining about Internet, haha, let me wrap up. Again, Internet is only an innocence kid which anyone can lead him to everywhere, hell or heaven. It’s up to the leaders heading an Internet into which way. Internet’s future will absolutely be changed, but I cannot predict, will it good or not. I can answer you only for today that Internet can make people smarter.

ReplyDeleteFor my honest criticism reacting to Yahoo admiring text, I, in fact, haven’t touched Yahoo for search engine as much as others surf and appreciate it. It is because I feel that another aggressive giant as Google is much better for ease of search engine and of course, Google-searching answers always facilitate me than Yahoo. My homepage is Google.com, therefore. I am, however, one of Yahoo email members but sometimes check to update it because Yahoo email box isn’t better than other as it should have to be. It’s somewhat difficult and slow. Then, I use Hotmail. So now, Yahoo has been taken by Microsoft.
To the founders, I strongly praise them for this world famous website. They are absolutely clever to the hundreds advanced walks they ran before others. Anyway, their conversation in text makes me think they were just 21 years old students like us. The young perspectives they released support me to trust that perhaps Walailak students may do something the world has to pay attention to even if we are now just 21.
To react Honey, I think that both in the online and offline world can be censored by any governments if they claim they have a right policy for their people or the country. A case of Thailand, our thousand history books were written by SOMEONE who are the biggest for the reasons they THINK they do it to protect and make the belief of Thais. So, I agree with you that the internet is a source that is reliable and in my opinion, maybe unreliable. But sometimes the books are also unreliable (and it’s hard to carp.).

The people also I use it to search the information that we are interesting; just type the titles or topics that you want to know, it will show many websites for you to explore. Though there are many websites for you to pay attention; it doesn’t mean that all of these websites are suitable for you. However, it is your duty to realize what websites appropriate or inappropriate for you to use them.
By the way, our world changes every time and everything that you don’t predict can occur every time. May be one day, we can communicate with the people who are from other world by using the internet ha ha. ;)

search engines like wikipedia or another are not reliable. Besides, it makes us have to go back to the library and find some book for
the true information.
I see that those kind of websites are definitely for general people to come and take a look for information and even add or change something there. ... o_0
We can't know whether those informations
they've changed are true or false. This sometimes makes me feel that I'm so stupid like the innocence who anybody can tell a lie with.
Anyway I just have to understand the way those search engines are and realise not to believe all what it's been said.
Now let's comeback to the point of what I try to say. As Honey said, and I agree with her. However, there's something I differently see
from her. Though those websites are reliable and can't help much, people still have to use it. It may cause of the revolution of the world.
Now world runs fast, time runs very fast, thing changes extremely fast, everything is fast, so we have to do things fastly too as well as
updating news and informations. And to do that, we just have to use those websites anyway. I think this may be the strength of these search engines that make it better than other offline medium.

There are many websites that support our needs especially search engine website. Yahoo is a search engine website that facilitate us for search some information. We use search engine website for search some information, pictures or something that you want to know. It is true that we use the internet for search the in formation more than search from book in the library, because it is so comfortable, easy and fast. Furthermore, it can use it all the time.
For me, Yahoo and Google is my close friend. They can tell me everything that I want to know. I use them everyday. Not only Yahoo is search engine website but there is the center of entertainment. We can link to another website that you like and interested such as movie, music, shopping, and games and so on.
For the future of internet or the new world of internet, I think it is difficult to predict because world of internet change all the time. We cannot know or forecast that tomorrow how is internet? It may be interesting or importance for someone. But, I don’t agree with text that Yahoo is one of most popular sites on the web. I think that it isn’t popular for people because Yahoo may be not familiar for me. In fact, Yahoo categories shows Arts, Business, Computers & Internet, Education, Entertainment, Government, New, Sports, Science, and Society & Culture that it is a good way. At present day, everybody knows well to usefulness of internet. Our education nowadays really needs to rely on modernity of internet because the computer become like another one of requisite. For the long future, nobody know what will happen if everyone can use the internet. The internet is like two-edged sword because everyone searches for information or education it is good but if it is not what will happen. I realize that there are a lot of good things on the internet but on the other hand the bad things have a lot too. The children can use the computer or internet whenever they want that mainly of them have less maturity to use it because the parents can’t keep an eye on them all time so make them to use it without control. Moreover, it can cause new criminals.

ReplyDeleteFor the first question,I agree with yahoo is a guid to everything because I think,yahoo search is a search engine and yahoo directory is one of the top five directories.Yahoo provide a really reliable webhost service that can easily be used by everyone.I would imagine that anyone would be able to get to grips with the interface really quickly and be able to get a website up and running to a fairly similar standard as someone with a lot of experience.
Yahoo is so successful is that it embraces the new medium and designs for its strengths rather than fighting its weaknesses.

When i go on Yahoo website, i see many topics such as mail, news, shopping, and weather and so on. It’s a good thing that internet has such intelligent website.
For me, i often browse to yahoo for seaching information. It’s a search engine that is very important and and tends to grow continully. Supposing if we don’t have search engine such Yahoo, i think it’s difficult to find information. Althought, it’s huge information, it becomes more difficult to find information that i want.
For the second question, I predict that in the future, maybe internet is faster than in this time and more convenient. We can do everything through internet.
However, Technology is always evolving; I guess in the future, maybe have somethings that are faster than internet. Which I cannot know what somethings happen? Supposing, if having something happen, i think internet becomes less popular.

This is importance weapon and necessary things that you must know about some information or new situations to you are modernistic in this period. Yahoo is a good option to update everything for you. It same learn out class in Globalization that you can access on website easily and fast. It’s a wonderful thing for Yahoo to inputs information that you want to know it; so you type “key word” only which you want to search it. Wow, it’s a good website really. Yahoo doesn’t input the data only, but it has several things to take you entertainment and very interesting such as game online, movie, music, news, chat, shopping, email, images, and etc. These things help you to relax and good time to you. Yahoo has both of know ledges and entertainments that has more than thousands websites on yahoo.com.
Although, Yahoo has good website but it has some data (dark shadow) that conceals by itself. If you search advantage information which you get advantage; in the other hand, if you use it for bad ways or disadvantage so you get disadvantage data too. The most fear in this case happened to children because they are innocent and inexperienced to may search disadvantage such as sex images, something that’s impolite for them. Therefore, the duties of their parents give suggestions or explain something to them for their future when they grow up.
Some information on yahoo is both of reliable and not reliable and you maybe analysis from many sources of information. In the future, Yahoo may develop to can speak and conversation answer-question between person that same talk mobile phone, so it’s very fast more than type the key word on website. ReplyDeleteNowadays, internet has an important role for world of new technology so there are many producers or designers to distribute millions of new pages on World Wide Web. The pages are growing more quickly and they are like a biggest online library. Moreover, there are a lot of “Search Engines” especially Yahoo! that enters in online society.
Importantly, Jerry Yang and Dave Filo were creators of Yahoo! and they met at Stanford University. They were both graduate students and they didn’t feel ready for job. Moreover, they didn’t have much experience in their doing work. Both of them spend more time in thinking and creating on the website in a tidy office in their university. Then they created the first website and named “Jerry’s Guide to the World Wide Web” that there were many people to interest it. Actually, they started with “Y-A (Yet Another)”, they tried to find many names and meaning. Finally, they decided on Yahoo!, they liked it most.
I think Yahoo! has enormous advantages to us because it is a guide to everything and it is one of the most popular website on the internet. Moreover, Yahoo! has millions of pages that we can find every thing that we want. Most visitors usually visit the website because it is new and different from other searching on the Internet. Yahoo! has good, interesting and important fourteen categories such as Arts, Business, Comunication&Internet, Education, Entertainment, Government, and etc. so we can easily find information. Yahoo! is a clever website that many other sites can’t copy it because it is well organized. However, because of millions of the pages of Yahoo!, we might not exactly find the information as fast as we want. When we would like to find one word, it shows millions of pages of the word.

ReplyDeleteI strongly believe that nobody doesn’t use the internet or doesn’t know about “search engines” especially “Yahoo”. Everybody spent the time for it every minute, an hour, a day, a month, or all the time when they open the computers. I think, one thing that we must do on Yahoo is searching information. It is the best ways to search for information. We are very easy to use this search engine. Only we give them a topic and they give us a list of the sites.
Besides, I agree that Yahoo is bigger than any library on Earth, because some information in that library don’t meet for sure such as; hot issues for today, hot gossip, popular music, etc.
At any rate , everything always should have two side that is advantages and disadvantages. Like Internet, in that paper said about young child looking at sex pictures on the internet. I think. It is a bad thing for me.
